We offer support and funding advice through the web site Forum, as well as practical signposting to grant giving organisations. Click on the Forum link (to your left) and browse around - you may find the answer you need is already there, if not feel free to post within the Forum and one of our team will reply. We support the work of individuals, business, community and voluntary organisations in the Yorkshire Dales.
We aim to encourage good quality, sustainable initiatives within local communities and to promote best practice at all levels. Our partnership has extensive experience of linking people to funds that will help them and if needed we can assist with the application process. We have been successfully involved with rural regeneration for over a decade across a wide range of large and small projects, from Child Care provision, increasing community use of energy efficiency, to provision of community services and sports facilities.
Projects: a gallery showing a small sample of the projects that our team have been involved with in the last year. This is a site in progress so please check back regularly for updates. If we have worked with your project and you would like it featured here, please contact the webmaster at info@re-vive.org.uk
Fund of the Month: details funds and funders for communities and individuals, which are 'user friendly' to apply for. We regularly update our ‘Fund of the Month’ page, so please check back at regular intervals for some in-depth information on grants aimed at people just like you.
Forum: Log into the web forum, register (this is free), join in, ask questions, post comments, share ideas. If you are seeking the best source of funding support for your project or idea, post in "Why don't I hear about them?" topic and a member of our team will reply. You do not have to be part of a group to take part in the action on this site, there are funds out there for individuals with good ideas as well. If you are having problems getting an idea off the ground, maybe we can help? If you don’t ask, you may never know. The forum runs in a similar way to a chat room in that you will get answers. It is not real time (and our team run this site on top of the 9 to 5), so bear with us if it takes a day or so to reply. There are lots of other topics in the forum, some purely with information, others a little more interactive.
Download: This is an area for downloading documents about Upper Wensleydale and its' communities. We are currently hosting the Upper Wensleydale Parish Plans (2005) (coming online gradually) and the Upper Wensleydale Community Needs Appraisal (2004). The Upper Wensleydale Needs Appraisal is a large document that will take some time to download. If you would like to purchase a CD copy (we regret there is a £5.75 charge, however we have to cover the costs of production and postage), please contact us at info@re-vive.org.uk, with the word "Order" in the subject line and we will mail an order form.
Webcam: If you are a passing visitor or even a resident, check out the web cam to see what is going on in Wensleydale and what the weather is now around the Addleborough area! The webcam is typically daylight only (not being infra red). This is not a "famous" view, but there is always plenty of action from sheep, walkers, hares and other wildlife throughout the year. Take a few moments to experience tranquility.
Contact: This is a site in progress, there may be questions about the webmaster’s spelling, but there will always be answers to your questions!
